Welcome to Guest Researcher Tong Tong

Tong Tong is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Science and Technology at Aalborg University and is currently a guest researcher in Chao Sun’s group. Through close collaboration, Tong will apply viral labeling, live imaging, and electrophysiological approaches to dissect synaptic transmission in both healthy brain and disease models. By integrating functional electrophysiological recordings with high-resolution microscopy, the project aims to clarify how synaptic connectivity and signaling are rewired during the transition from physiological to pathological states.
