Congratulations to Andreas Thustrup Pommer, new Research Assistant in Nabavi Lab

Andreas will continue his stay at Nabavi Lab in his new position as Research Assistant. Andreas will use fiber photometry to investigate the dynamics and neuromodulatory effects of norepinephrine in the basolateral amygdala complex in the context of learned and innate fear. The side-by-side comparison of these types of fear will provide insights into how a stimulus acquires negative valence and why some stimuli are inherently threatening.
